Working at Heights Training
On February 28, 2024, we participated in an eight-hour training course on Working at Heights in Toronto, Canada. The course was delivered by a leading Canadian organisation specialising in safety training.
Although there are differences between safety standards in Canada and Europe, the distinctions are relatively minor compared to the European system. These differences primarily pertain to specific legislation, while the fundamental principles regarding protective measures and their hierarchical structure remain mainly consistent across these regions.
As part of this educational experience, we were afforded the opportunity to assess the training's strengths and weaknesses and engage in self-evaluation for our continued professional development.
